Per tola price reaches Rs454,336 after a gain of Rs5,100

KARACHI -- Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs454,336 after a gain of Rs5,100 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs389,519 after it increased by Rs4,372, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, gold price per tola reached Rs449,236 after a gain of Rs11,300 during the day.
The international rate of gold was up by $51 to reach $4,319 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs280 to reach Rs6,939 per tola.
