Bridegroom injured, boy killed in Karachi firing incident
Karachi: In an unfortunate incident a 12-year old boy was killed while the groom sustained serious injuries as bride's cousin opened fire on vehicle near Keamari district in Karachi, GNN reported.
As per details, the relative following a grudge over the wedding shot a single bullet on the car which went through the body of the young boy who was sitting on groom's lap and hit the groom.
The accused escaped from the scene after the incident.
The boy came all the way from Thatta to attend the wedding.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to Karachi’s Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police stated that shots were fired at the car near Massan Chowrangi.
The groom is out of danger, says doctors.
