Pakistan downs eight drones launched from Afghan side: security sources

WEB DESK -- Pakistan has shot down eight drones that entered its airspace this morning from the Afghan side.

According to security sources, Pakistan’s armed forces’ active and alert air defence system shot down the drones.

The sources said four drones were shot down in areas adjoining Torkham border, while four others were downed in mountainous areas along the border adjoining Kohat.

Security sources said the intrusion is yet another evidence of the Afghan Taliban regime’s direct support and patronage of terrorists.
