Karachi: In Sindh, all educational institutions are reopening in the province from today (August 30) with strict compliance of COVID related strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


According to an official notification issued by Sindh Education, Literacy and Colleges Education Department, the educational institutions will remain open for six days a week with 50 % attendance of students on alternate days.
The notification further stated that random PCR tests will be conducted by the health department as required.
Under the administrative control of the School Education and Literacy Department, the issued guidelines were applicable to all public and private schools.
Meanwhile, all heads of educational institutions have been directed to ensure 100 percent vaccination of teaching and non-teaching staff.
