Pak Army soldier martyred in IED blast in South Waziristan
South Waziristan: A locally-manufactured IED went off in Asmaan Manza area of South Waziristan on late Monday, leaving a Pakistan Army soldier martyred.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the explosive exploded during a clearance operation.
Security forces soon after the incident cordoned off the area and began search of the suspects involved in planting the IED.
The crossfire took place with some terrorists as a result of which a terrorist who was escaping arrest was killed.
The martyred soldier has been identifed as 25-year-old Wajid Ullah of Karak.
