Lahore: Pakistan’s acclaimed cricket star, Shahid Afridi said that the next Pakistan Super League (PSL) season might be his last and he would love to play for Quetta Gladiators.

Former national cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has signaled his full retirement from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Talking to media, Boom Boom Afridi said that he is still playing cricket because of his fans.
“I still love to play cricket but since the advent of bubble system, playing cricket has been reduced. That it is very difficult for players to play cricket in a bubble, maybe this PSL will be my last,” Afridi told reporters.
"This season, I would like to play for Quetta Gladiators if Multan allow me to leave,” he added.
He further added that if Nadeem Omar and Quetta's owners want to have him he would love to represent them.
Shahid Afridi retired from international cricket back in 2016 but continued to play league cricket mostly in Pakistan.
The 44-year-old cricketer has won the PSL with Peshawar Zalmi in his second season at the franchise, and also played a minor role for the Multan Sultans.
Afridi is currently contracted with Multan Sultans— his third franchise in PSL.
