‘No Confidence Motion’ can knockout govt during Senate elections, states Maryam Nawaz
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Monday has said that the current situation in the country can bring uncertainty resulting in ‘No Confidence Motion’ against the Prime Minister.

Vote of no confidence can take place during forthcoming senate elections, added PML-N leader.
While talking to media, the PML-N leader stressed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given tickets to billionaires for Senate elections. The aim behind this practice is to promote horse trading in the Senate polls.
She further alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is trying to disrupt peaceful election campaign of the opposition parties. She expressed determination to stop those forcefully ‘imposed’ on the nation.
The PML-N vice-president said that he wanted PDM to remain united even after the government leaves. Those who fantasised of breaking PDM would break themselves. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Yousaf Raza Gillani is joint candidate of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for Senate elections from Islamabad and PML-N will fully support him, she added.
The PML-N leader said that it is crucial for her to travel abroad for surgery but she will not submit any application to remove her name from the Exit Control List (ECL). Planning is being done to send her out of Pakistan to make political environment suitable for the government but ‘Maryam will not go out’ she stressed. “Maryam Nawaz is not being handled by them, what would happen if Nawaz Sharif came back”.
PML-N leader said that PDM does not need backdoor contacts further their MPs were communicated to betray the party leadership but she wanted to tell those people that the time has now changed and they know how to handle them.
She said that the country is being destroyed due to Imran Khan's incompetence and he is accusing bureaucrats for his failure. Beside all attention on controlling the opposition parties “you are also failing”.
PML-N leader talked to the media before leaving for Wazirabad to lead election campaign for PP-51 by-elections to be held later this month.
