Vehari: In a horrific incident, a man allegedly axed four of his family members to death including wife and three children over a family dispute in Vehari village here on Wednesday.
Following a brutal incident, the suspect Umar Zaman killed his wife, two daughters and a son over some unknown family dispute.
The victims were identified as Shahnaz, wife of the accused and kids Sumera (8), Zain (6), Shanza (3).
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information. Police took Umar into custody.
“He had five children from which a son and daughter remained unharmed,” said police.
However, a case has been registered against the suspect under murder section (302) of Pakistan Penal Code.
Rescue 1122 shifted bodies to a nearby hospital for an autopsy.
