KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) witnessed a sharp rise on the first day of the business week and the psychological level of 46,000 was restored in the 100 Index of the stock market.

The index closed at 46,375 points at the end of trading.
According to the details, during the first day of the business week, PSX witnessed a tremendous rise. During the trading session, the 100 Index was seen at a high of 46,507 and a minimum of 45,808 points. Whereas 249,081,852 shares were traded with a market value of Rs17.48 billion.
