Pakistan will receive more than four million doses of Pfizer vaccine soon, a US official said on Thursday.

President Joe Biden has already announced that the US is poised to get the entire world inoculated like the US.
“We are working to get as many safe and effective vaccines to as many people around the world as fast as possible,” he said.
Pakistan has secured over 58 million doses of inoculation against COVID-19 so far, but millions are still unvaccinated against the virus. Pakistan is mainly dependent on Chinese vaccines.
Earlier the COVAX has provided 4.15 million doses to Pakistan, while 9.2 million doses of Moderna and Pfizer have been donated by the global vaccine-sharing initiative co-led by Gavi (the Vaccine Alliance), World Health Organization, and Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Moderna.
