Wasim Akram shares heartwarming video of reuniting with his daughter after 10 months
Karachi: Former skipper of Pakistan cricket team, Wasim Akram has shared a heartwarming video of reuniting with his daughter after a gap of ten months.


The 55-year old former fast bowler was in Pakistan, while his wife Shaniera and daughter Aiyla have been stranded in Australia for the last 10 months due to the coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions.
In the video, Akram’s daughter can be seen running towards the door and hugging his father delightfully upon seeing him.
“Finally seeing my daughter after 10 months apart! Thank you @iamshaniera for raising such a beautiful little princess while we have been apart #HappyDays #Australia,” the King of Swing captioned the video.

Wasim Akram had married Shaniera Akram in an intimate ceremony on August 12, 2021. The couple welcomed their daughter Aiyla Akram in December 2014.
