Sindh govt takes NCOC in the loop about stringent measures against unvaccinated
Karachi: The Sindh health ministry Sunday sent a new summary to the National Command and Operation (NCOC) with stringent actions against unvaccinated individuals.
The ministry said in its new directives that all those, who will not show their vaccination certificate, won’t be able to avail the bank services.
“Banks and post offices will only offer their facilities to the vaccinated individuals”.
In the purview of burgeoning coronavirus cases, the Sindh government has disseminated new instructions regarding the restaurants and hotels to the Sindh home ministry Sindh.
According to the new restrictions; only the immunized populace having certificates would be allowed to use the amenities of the restaurants and hotels.
The government of Sindh will start the vaccination of the students of matric and intermediate from tomorrow.
It is pertinent to note here that, the NCOC has put new precincts on Friday keeping in view the aggravating condition of pandemic in Pakistan.
The NCOC approved a one-week ban on inter-city travel, on-campus education in 24 Covid-affected districts
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Friday approved a ban on inter-city travel and closure of educational institutes in 24 Covid-affected cities.
The decisions were taken at the forum's meeting chaired by Federal Minister Asad Umar in the federal capital.
The ban will be applicable from September 4 to September 12. The NCOC approved restrictions after Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered necessary measures in the wake of an upsurge in Covid-19 cases.
The meeting was told that the restrictions have been imposed in 15 districts of Punjab, eight of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
All indoor and outdoor activities would be banned. Indoor gyms will also remain closed. However, only outdoor wedding events are allowed to be organised with a maximum of 300 guests.
Among 24 districts where coronavirus restrictions would prevail are Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Lahore, Faisalabad, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Multan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Swabi, Peshawar, Malakand, Swat, Haripur, Mansehra, Abbaotabad and Dera Ismail Khan.
