WhatsApp to bring privacy-focused feature
WhatsApp Tuesday has announced that it will be making some improvements to its platform’s policy—including more privacy-focused customization options.

The upcoming privacy update was revealed by WaBetaInfo on its official twitter handle.
As per details, now users of the instant messaging app have the option to turn off their ‘Last Seen’ status for "Everyone," "Nobody," or only "My Contacts."
“WhatsApp is planning to add the "My contacts except..." option for Last Seen, Profile Picture and About, so you will be able to exclude specific contacts without disabling the feature! Hundred points symbol,” the caption read.
It will reportedly be available on both the Android and iOS version of the app.
It is pertinent to mention ere that if users choose to turn off "Last Seen" for any or all contacts, they won't be able to see their active status, either—the feature always applies to both parties.
