Kabul: The official Spokesman of the Taliban, Zabiullah Mujahid announced the provisional ministers and head of the government on Tuesday in the presence of global media.


According to the spokesman, Muhammad Ahsan Akhund would be the acting Prime Minister (PM) of the government, while the co-founder Mullah Ghani Baradar will be the deputy PM.
Following the interim cabinet, Siraj-ud-din-Haqqani has been appointed as acting Interior Minister, while, Mullah Yaqub will take charge as the interim Minister Defence.
In addition to this, Abdul Haq Wasiq will assume the acting Minister for Intelligence. Additionally, Amir Khan Muttaqi will be the acting foreign minister and Sher Muhammad Abbas will be the provisional Deputy Foreign Minister.
He said that all groups have been represented in the cabinet.
Zabiullah further added, “This cabinet is interim and changes can occur”.
Moreover, the spokesman articulated that we have complete control of Panjshir Valley, and all the news regarding Pakistan’s involvement is propaganda which is happening for 20 years.
“Pakistan has a paramount role in working for peace in Afghanistan”.
Regarding the protests in Kabul, he said that our forces are not trained to deal with protests and these demonstrations will only disturb the “peace”.
“We will not allow our territory to be used against any state,” stated the spokesman.
He reassured that inclusivity is maintained keeping in view the intricate ethnic formation- albeit women are unlikely to be inculcated at the top-level leadership.
“After today, no one will be able to interfere in Afghanistan”.
