Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia dies
New Delhi: Acclaimed Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia died on Wednesday morning. Akshay confirmed the sad news on social media.


Akshay turned to twitter to share the news and expressed his grief and wrote, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence”.
“My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world,” he added.
He mourned her death and wrote, “I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti”.

She was admitted to Mumbai's Hiranandani Hospital on September 3 and was in a critical condition.
On Monday, the actor had to fly back from UK after hearing the unfortunate news of her mother’s deteriorated condition. Akshay had been shooting for his upcoming thriller movie Cinderella abroad.
