Actress Kathryn Prescott in ICU after being hit by cement truck
New York: Kathryn Prescott is currently in ICU after being hit by a cement truck, her sister Megan Prescott said.


As per details, the actor was hit by a cement truck on Tuesday in New York, "I received the most terrifying phone call I've ever received in my life on Tuesday evening. My twin sister Kathryn was hit by a cement truck while crossing a road in New York on the 7th September," Megan shared on Instagram.
"After fighting through complex surgery some of Kathryn's injuries include: broken pelvis in two places, both of her legs, her foot and her left hand," she said. "She is incredibly lucky to be alive. She narrowly avoided paralysis. The doctors are hopeful that she will make a full recovery but this will only be possible with the correct care right now."
Megan went on the say the British actor is alone in the US, and she needs to fly out to see her in order to help.
She applied to the US Embassy for exemption from the current restrictions banning any non-US citizens from entering the country and was denied. "I am devastated," she said.
Kathryn is best known for her roles in Skins – where she appeared alongside her twin sister – and MTV's Finding Carter.
She also starred in the films, A Dog's Journey alongside Dennis Quaid, as well as Netflix's Dude with Awkwafina and Lucy Hale. She had recurring roles in shows such as 24: Legacy, The Son and Tell Me a Story.
