Man 'burns' wife alive in Gujrat

As per details, the couple reportedly got into a heated argument following which the suspect assaulted the woman.

The suspect immediately fled the scene after committing gruesome offence. The neighbours, however called police after hearing the woman’s cries.

Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.

“50% of the victim’s body has been burned,” said doctor in charge.

However, a case has also been registered and further investigation into the incident is underway.

Special police teams have been formed and raids are being conducted to arrest the suspect.

In July, another incident of domestic violence took place in the Barrage Colony of Hyderabad when the alleged perpetrator — identified as Omar Khalid Memon — killed his wife after torturing her. The couple had four children together.
