Seven killed in Abbottabad landslide
Abbottabad: In an unfortunate incident, at least seven people were killed after a house collapsed due to landslide in village Payjo in Abbottabad on Sunday.
Two ambulances of Rescue 1122 Abbottabad along with medical technician, rescue vehicle and recovery vehicle along with rescue and disaster team were dispatched as soon as the control room was informed.
According to initial reports, seven people were buried under the roof of the collapsed house and two people were rescued alive.
“The bodies of three people who were buried under the rubble were recovered later,” rescue sources said.
Among killed there were a husband, wife and their daughter.
However, rescue operation continues to evacuate more people from the rubble.
