Karachi man kills robber during snatching; accomplice shot and wounded by police later
Karachi: A suspected robber was killed by the firing of a citizen during snatching attempt in Karachi on late Wednesday, police said.


Police sources told GNN that the other suspect later faced patrolling police and got injured in crossfire.
Two robbers stopped car-occuiper on Rashid Minhas Road and tried to snatch cash and cell phone.
The car rider who was possessing weapon opened fired that left one of the suspects fatally wounded.
Police responded to the crime scene on an emergency call. The other robber fled the scene. As the suspect entered the Block 16 of Federal B Area, he faced the patrolling police party. The crossfire left the suspect wounded.
Police transported both the suspects to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where one of them was pronounced dead. The deceased was identified as Shaharyar alias Sheri and injured as Saqib.
Police seized weapons, motocycle and snatched items.
Criminal injured police enconuter
An alleged criminal was arrested in injured condition in Phulleki police limits of Hyderabad. The suspect identified as Sajjad was admitted to the civil hospital.
Police said the suspect was arrested after crossfire. The injured was wanted by police in at least 30 cases of multiple crimes.
