Ailing comedian Umer Sharif contracts pneumonia
The Legendary actor has contracted pneumonia in Germany hospital following which his departure for the US is getting delayed.


Berlin: Acclaimed Pakistani comedian Umer Sharif is suffering from pneumonia amidst his journey to United States (US) for medical treatment, said his doctor.

Upon getting information of actor’s current situation, the doctor in charge, Tariq Shahab has directed his team of physicians to keep comedian stay at hospital for two more days.
Meanwhile, Umer Sharif is undergoing a proper medical examination and is being administered antibiotics.
The comedian left Pakistan on Tuesday with his wife, Zareen Ghazal Umer Sharif through aerial ambulance for medical treatment.
However, going through legal formalities, officials in Nuremberg issued his wife an emergency visa.
It is pertinent to mention here that even when he leaves for the USA, his flight will take seven and half hours to reach Iceland where the plane will be refueled.
After Iceland, his next destination is Canada from where he will be shifted to George Washington University Hospital.
