Rawalpindi: A Pakistan army soldier embraced martyrdom on Monday after terrorists targeted the Security Forces post in Ghariuom area of North Waziristan, said military’s media wing.
In an official statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that army troops responded promptly, however, during the exchange of fire, 30-year-old Sepoy Muhammad Amir Iqbal embraced martyrdom.

TTP Commander Khawaza din alias Sher Khan was killed during the operation, said ISPR.
The military’s media wing added that Captain Sikander (27) from Pakpattan, was martyred during the exchange of fire.
