Indian plane gets stuck under foot overbridge, video goes viral
Reportedly, the scrapped airplane did not have wings and was being transported when it got stuck.
New Delhi: An Air India aircraft wedged underneath a foot overbridge near the IGI Airport on the Gurugram-Delhi highway. The photos and video of the incident have gone massively viral on social media.
Reportedly, the scrapped airplane did not have wings and was being transported when it got stuck.
The jet is seen stranded on the highway in the footage, prompting Air India to clarify that the plane was destroyed and sold by the company.
According to the footage, the plane's nose and half of its midsection made it through, but the plane became stuck at the wing region under the bridge.

As per reports, the incident occurred during the transfer of a dismantled plane that had been sold.
The national carrier company quickly explained that the plane had been deregistered and was being destroyed.
"Under any circumstances, there is no link with the aircraft," Air India stated.
However, even though the airline said they had nothing to do with the plane, it didn’t stop jokes on social media.
The airplane did not block all traffic on the route. In the video, vehicles can be seen passing on one side of the highway, while the other side appears to be largely blocked by the plane.
