Chinese Ambassador calls on COAS
Rawalpindi: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong Thursday called on Chief of Army Staff (Army) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed issues related to mutual interest including regional security.
During the meeting, the COAS thanked China for providing Coronavirus vaccine and commended China's support to Pakistan in international forums.
COAS also said that successful completion of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring more benefits and prosperity to the people of both countries. The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s contributions for regional peace and stability.
Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong also appreciated Pakistan's role for regional peace and stability in the meeting.
