Kahuta: A 13-year-old boy and his 19-year-old sister were shot dead allegedly by a man who also took his own life in Kahuta city on Saturday, police said.

Police said the incident took place at a home on Jamia Masjid Road. Police investigators are present at the crime scene.

Accoridng to GNN correspondent Idrees Abbasi, an unidentified man forced his entry into the house and opened fire on a girl and his brother Naeem Nadeem. The man then shot himself to death.

Police said the motive for the shooting is under investigation. The identities of the deceased are not yet known.

Rambo, seven others arrested in Greater Iqbal Park case 

Lahore investigation police took Aamir Sohail alias Rambo, the colleague of TikToker Ayesha Akram, and seven others in Greater Iqbal Park harassment case. 

The arrests followed the latest statement of Ayesha who alleged that Rambo had planned the visit on August 14 and he used to blackmail her on previous videos.

Ayesha further told police investigators that Rambo had recaived Rs1 million from her and that she used to give him half salary.

In association with one Badshah Rambo would run TikTok gang.

Police shifted the suspects to the Crimes Investigation Agency cell from Lorry Adda police station.    

DIG Invetsigation Lahore Shariq Jamal said 13 people had been nominated in the light of statement of Ayesha that the remaining suspects would also be arrested soon.

Islamabad: Pakistan on Monday saw a sharp decline in fatalities from the coronavirus, registering 27 fatalities over the past 24 hours, down from 34 a day earlier, according to the country’s Health Ministry.

Pakistan is presently experiencing the fourth wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than the previous three COVID waves. Today, the daily positivity rate in-country is at 2.84%.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,490 cases of coronavirus were reported while 27 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 27,893.

The total number of cases has reached 1,251,348.

As many as 1,177,249 patients have recovered from the disease with 3,407 critical cases.

Punjab  

The number of patients swelled to 433,286 in the province with 12,685 causalities.

Sindh

The number of infections has surged to 460,111 in the province, while the death toll has reached 7,427.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The confirmed cases have surged to 174,671 in the province with 5,580 casualties.

Balochistan

There are 32,981 confirmed cases while 349 patients have died from the infection so far.

AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

There are 34,234 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 738. On the other hand, there are 10,332 cases in GB with 186 coronavirus deaths.

Islamabad

There are 105,733 cases in the capital city while 928 people have lost their lives.

Pakistan logs over 600 new COVID infections, 20 deaths 

Islamabad: Amid a steady decline in Covid-19 infections, Pakistan's coronavirus positivity ratio further fell to 1.37% with 603 new cases.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 603 cases of coronavirus were reported while 20 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 28,300.

Pakistan is presently experiencing the fourth wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than the previous three COVID waves.

The total number of cases has reached 1,265,650.

As many as 1,211,710 patients have recovered from the disease with 1,852 critical cases.

Punjab

The number of patients swelled to 438,133 in the province with 12,861 causalities.

Sindh

The number of infections has surged to 466,154 in the province, while the death toll has reached 7,533.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The confirmed cases have surged to 176,950 in the province with 5,689 casualties.

Balochistan

There are 33,133 confirmed cases while 354 patients have died from the infection so far.

AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

There are 34,406 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 740. On the other hand, there are 10,370 cases in GB with 186 coronavirus deaths.
