Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif Sunday announced that his party would observe a ‘Day of Mourning’ tomorrow on the demise of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.


According to details, the PML-N backed Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif in a tweet expressed condolence and said that nation has lost a true benefactor.
Shehbaz Sharif in his announcement to observe a day of mourning tomorrow said that PML-N would pay a tribute to Dr. AQ Khan as a Mohsin-e-Pakistan for his services to the nation.
Today the nation has lost a true benefactor who served the motherland with heart and soul. The passing of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan is a huge loss for the country. His role in making Pakistan an atomic power remains central. May Allah shower his blessings on his soul!

The PML-N President announced that his party would hold a special prayer ceremony for the departed soul.
He also directed the party leaders and workers to hold special functions to pay tribute to Dr. AQ Khan across the country.
The PML-N president in a separate tweet directed his party leaders and workers staying in Islamabad to attend the funeral rituals of Dr. AQ Khan.
