Accoridng to the PIA's spokesman, the decision was taken in view of changed dynamics and non-conducive conditions supporting international flight operations.
He said the decision to keep flying into Kabul even after the changed in regime was taken on purely humanitarian grounds, and on strong insistence of some friendly organizations.
PIA was operating charter flights to Kabul.
The spokesman said the insurance cost of these flights is very high and the fares cannot be reduced.
