Lahore: The South African pace bowler, Dale Willem Steyn who is a supplementary pick by the Quetta Gladiators for Pakistan Super League (PSL 6), will be absent for the first two matches due to a family commitment.

Dale Steyn will miss opening match of the tournament against Karachi Kings on Saturday evening, and with Lahore Qalandars on Monday.
The South African fast bowler is expected to arrive in Karachi on February 22, following a period of quarantine and all the necessary Covid-19 testing.
He will be available for the franchise for the fixture against Peshawar Zalmi on February 26.
Steyn has been partially replaced by all-rounder Hassan Khan in the Quetta squad.
Moreover, the teams are allowed to make two supplementary round picks at the PSL draft. The combination for this can be two local players or one local or foreign player.
Meanwhile, Islamabad United's Akif Javed is recovering from a surgery and will not be available for the PSL 6. Hence, Zeeshan Zameer has been included in the squad as Akif’s replacement.
