Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Pervaiz Rasheed has challenged the rejection of his nomination for the forthcoming Senate elections.

According to details, the PML-N leader moved Lahore High Court (LHC) election tribunal against the rejection of his nomination papers.
Pervaiz Rasheed has made the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Returning Officer (RO) as parties.
In his petition, Rasheed stated that he is willing to pay Rs 9.5 million to remove the objection of electoral body and added that the returning officer had illegally rejected his nomination papers.
He added that he had prepared payment cheques for money following the demand of Punjab House, but no information was given regarding the bank.
Pervaiz Rasheed requested court nullify the decision of ECP.
Earlier yesterday, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) rejected nomination papers of Senator Pervaiz Rasheed on the basis of him being a defaulter of Punjab House in Islamabad.
