Quetta: The Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has resigned from his post on Monday (October 25), GNN reported.
As per reports, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has mobilised to become the chief minister of the province after several senior BAP members refused to support Jam Kamal Khan in the wake of the no-confidence motion submitted by 16 opposition lawmakers against him.
His resignation came a day after Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani resigned.
Bizenjo has handed his resignation to the assembly secretary, who will later forward it to the Balochistan governor for approval.
