With this visa permit, refugees will now have access to employment as well as health care and other public services.

Mexico: Adopting a softer approach to the task of containing migrant flows, Mexican government Thursday has decided to give humanitarian visas to children and pregnant women who are moving north from southern Mexico.
With this visa permit, refugees will now have access to employment as well as health care and other public services.
Reportedly, the majority of migrants are families with young children—migrating towards the border in hope to reach the United States (US) or Mexico City.
On Saturday, a convoy trekked through a check post near the Guatemalan border and at least 400 law enforcement officers in anti-riot gear tried to block the caravan's path
The conflict turned physical, following which a small family, including children were knocked to the ground in the struggle.
The latest caravan comes amid record numbers of apprehensions by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and growing criticism of US President Joe Biden from Republicans, who say he has not done enough to curb illegal immigration.
