Jhelum: Two proclaimed offenders were killed while three others were taken into police custody on Sunday following an encounter with police near Shumali Muhalla in Jhelum.

As per details, Sindh police busted a gang of five wanted criminals in a gambling raid. On seeing the police, the accused opened fire.
During the armed clash, three of police personnel including Shoaib, Salahud-din and Khurram sustained serious injuries.
“They were wanted by police in a number of dacoit and robbery cases,” said officials.
Moreover, the police recovered a big quantity of illicit weapons and shifted the bodies to hospital for autopsy.
The injured officials are in critical condition, says doctor.
