Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has strengthened with every passing day.


Addressing the launching ceremony of the Winter Relief Project by Saudi Arabia in Islamabad on Thursday, he said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have close political, strategic, and economic ties.
The Minister said Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan in the hour of need. He said Saudi Arabia has been on the forefront in providing humanitarian assistance to Pakistan in natural calamities.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the Winter Relief Project of Saudi Arabia would provide assistance to the poor people in the far-flung areas of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Saudi Ambassador said Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have close brotherly ties.
