The first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup will be played between New Zealand and England at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi today (Wednesday) at 7:00 pm.


Dubai: Two years after the dramatic World Cup final at Lord's Cricket Ground, New Zealand and England are set to meet in another International Cricket Council (ICC) knockout match.
Their last meeting at an ICC event remains one of the most thrilling encounters in the history of the sport.
The first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup will be played between New Zealand and England at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi today (Wednesday) at 7:00 pm.
England and New Zealand teams qualified for the semi-finals by winning 4.4 matches in the group stage. The only defeat of the Kiwi team was against Pakistan.
New Zealand won the first T20 International between the two sides at the inaugural World Cup in South Africa.
It is pertinent to mention here that England has won the T20 World Cup in 2010 while in 2016 it was defeated by West Indies in the final.
The second semi-final of the T20 World Cup will be played tomorrow between Pakistan and Australia in Dubai tomorrow at 7:00 pm.
Green shirts has so far been unbeaten in the event while Kangaroos has lost one match.
