San Francisco: WhatsApp is rolling out the default disappearing message timer for users allowing them to set all the individual chats on disappearing mode.

Meta-owned messaging app, WhatsApp is ready to release the new WhatsApp beta for Android 2.21.23.13 update, bringing a lot of features for those beta testers that haven’t received them in the previous updates.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out the new UI for more beta testers today.

The caption read, “WhatsApp is rolling out some features for those beta testers that haven't received them in previous updates: a new Contact Info UI, Default Message Timer, 24 hours and 90 days, multi-device changes!”

This is a default function and users can manually disable it if won’t feel convenient using it.

It’s one of the privacy features that automatically deletes messages, media, and links in chat after a set duration of time.

Moreover, users will be getting two new options for disappearing duration, including 24 hours and 90 days.

Furthermore, the new default message timer is introduced in the WhatsApp chat settings. WhatsApp beta for Android is installing this function in the device. However, only specific Android beta testers are receiving this feature at present.

In addition, WhatsApp is also working on some changes for multi-device for more beta testers, released after the 2.21.23.10 beta update.
