Shoaib Akhtar reconciles with anchor Nauman Niaz


Lahore: Former star pacer Shoaib Akhtar reconciled with TV anchor and former Pakistan Television host Dr. Nauman Niaz, as the program host tendered an "unconditional apology" for his misconduct with Shoaib Akhtar in a live TV show.
According to details, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Ahmed Chaudhry mediated between Shoaib Akhtar and Nauman Niaz, as a result, they both reconciled after this meet-up.
It is pertinent to remember that on October 26 former PTV Sports host Dr. Nauman Niaz misbehaved with ex-fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar during the live show, ‘Game on Hai’, on PTV Sports’, Akhtar corrected Dr. Niaz that Haris Rauf was the find of Lahore Qalandars and not a U19 product.
The host took issue with Akhtar’s comments and said: “You’re being a little rude and I don’t want to say this, but if you’re being over smart, you can go. I am saying this on air.”
Akhtar, who was on the show alongside former players David Gower and Viv Richards, said he could not continue.
