School van hit by train, 2 students killed


Sheikhupura: A school van collided with a train near Sriyanwala, killing two students and injuring 10 others.
According to GNN, a very tragic incident took place in Sheikhupura in the morning, the van was on their way to school from Char Chak Risala when it met with an accident. The van crashed due to negligence of the driver. The dead included a female student and a male student.
Rescue team reached the crash site as soon as the incident was reported. According to rescue, the student who died in the accident has been identified as Noreen.
Rescue shifted 4 injured to hospital. Locals stopped the train on the track to protest the deadly accident.
The accident occurred due to absence of staff at the station gate.
