Smog situation: Educational institutions and private offices to remain close three days a week
The notification will be effective from November 27 to January 15
Lahore: Government of Punjab on Monday announced that all educational institutions and private offices within Lahore will remain close for three days a week as the city is dealing with the prevailing issue of Smog.
According to details, a major decision of the Punjab government was taken to curtail the prevailing smog in Lahore. All educational institutions and private offices within Lahore will now have three days off a week.
The order has been issued under the Punjab National Climates Prevention and Relief Act. A notification has also been issued by Relief Commissioner Punjab Babar Hayat Tarar in this regard.
According to the notification, the staff of private offices will work online from home on Monday like Corona epidemic, educational institutions have been ordered to continue online classes of students during the Monday holiday.
The notification will be effective from November 27 to January 15.
