Shoaib Malik, two other star players likely to miss West Indies T20Is


Lahore: Veteran all-rounders Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez along with star pacer Hasan Ali are likely to miss the upcoming T20I home series against West Indies
All-rounder Shoaib Malik, who flew back to Dubai due to his son’s health issues ahead of the third T20I against Bangladesh, is set to miss T20I’s against the Windies.
Sources confirmed that Shoaib Malik has already informed captain Babar Azam and Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim in this regard.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Hafeez will also not play in the T20 series against the West Indies as Hafeez has withdrawn from the home series to play in the Lanka Premier League and for this, he has also obtained NOC from the PCB.
On the other, star pacer Hasan Ali will also be rested for the West Indies series.
It is pertinent to remember that Pakistan will host West Indies in Karachi for three T20Is and three ODIs from December 13-22.
