Fans 'euphoric' as BTS performs first in-person concert in two years
The "BTS Army"—one of the biggest fandoms in the world is out in force after the seven-member super group decided to perform its first live concert since 2019 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.


Los Angeles: Acclaimed K-POP group BTS kicked off the first day of their four-day concert in Los Angeles today. The performance marks their first in-person act in over two years.
The "BTS Army"—one of the biggest fandoms in the world is out in force after the seven-member super group decided to perform its first live concert since 2019 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Hence, fans are in absolute melodious delight.
Two years since its last concerts in front of a live crowd, the renowned K-pop group has returned to the stage with four shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood slated November 27-28 and Dec. 1-2.
Hundreds of thousands of the massive fandom, known as ARMY, flock to the city to see their performances.
Ahead of BTS concerts, fans from as far away as South Korea and across the US already lined up to buy their official merchandise. Despite the long wait, most fans said it was worth it.
The concerts will also be streamed at venewlive.com.
Besides their concerts in LA, BTS also performed at the American Music Awards 2021 and won three awards.
The band also appeared on ‘The Late Late Night Show with James Corden’ and also bagged their Grammy 2022 nomination.
BTS aka Bangtan Sonyeondan consists of three rappers and four vocalists and made its debut in 2013.
The group has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, becoming one of the most popular Korean Pop and one of the most successful boy bands of all time.
In 2020, they were the top-selling artists in the world, beating out the likes of Taylor Swift and Drake.
In recent years BTS has also dominated social media, creating 19 of the most retweeted tweets of all-time with a legion of fans worldwide who call themselves the BTS Army.
