The minister added that the role of the chairman and members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in elections was very important.


Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Thursday appreciated Election Commission’s decision to constitute technical committees on electronic voting machines (EVMs) and voting right for Overseas Pakistanis.
On his official twitter handle, the federal minister wrote that the decisions of Parliament precede all institutions.
The minister added that the role of the chairman and members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in elections was very important.
He assured that the government would co-operate with the ECP in all these matters.
