Continuous vigil to counter all threats vital for ensuring security along LoC: COAS
Army chief was briefed on ground situation along LoC, operational preparedness during visit of forward areas along LoC


Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LOC)
According to a statement of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief was briefed on the ground situation along the LoC and operational preparedness of the formation.
COAS Bajwa interacted with the troops deployed along the LoC in the Kot Kotera Sector and appreciated their combat readiness and high state of morale.
The army chief emphasized that continuous vigil and readiness to counter all threats and contingencies is vital for ensuring security along the LoC.
Earlier on his arrival at the LoC, the COAS was received by the Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.
