Saudi actress Areej Abdullah found dead in apartment
As per reports, Areej Abdullah was found in her bed by her maid, who arrived for work in the morning.


Riyadh: A 24-year-old Saudi actress has been found dead in her apartment situated in Egypt, Arab media reported.
As per reports, Areej Abdullah was found in her bed by her maid, who arrived for work in the morning.
The maid immediately alerted the police about the matter and the preliminary investigations revealed that there was no suspicion of murder and the actress died of natural causes.
The case was referred to the Public Prosecution, which ordered an immediate autopsy to establish the cause of death.
The forensic experts have determined that the deceased suffered a pulmonary embolism while she was asleep.
Authorities have revealed that Areej had been in poor health and spent time in the hospital before being discharged last week after her condition improved.
The celebrity’s death was confirmed on Twitter by several Saudi entertainment industry.
Moreover, the actress was the daughter of late Saudi Singer Abdullah Muhammad.
In the meantime, the concerned authorities have issued a death certificate to allow the transport of deceased’s body to Saudi Arabia for funeral and burial procedures.
