PM Imran Khan says former rulers made us a slave nation by taking loans from international institutions


Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has apprised the members about reasons for bringing mini-budget during the federal cabinet meeting.
According to the details, the prime minister openly discuss regarding the mini-budget with cabinet members and informed them the reasons behind bringing the budget.
Slamming the previous governments, PM Imran Khan mentioned that the former rulers made us a slave nation by taking loans from international institutions. “In order to repay the loans and interest of international institutions, one has to take loans from them,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the mini-budget is likely to be presented by the government soon and in this regard the spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance said that no items will be levied on any item used by the common man in the budget.
On the other hand, the opposition has strongly criticized the decision of the government to bring a mini-budget and has also decided to protest.
