Buzdar takes notice of murder of teenage girl, gang-rape of woman beggar in Gujranwala

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has sought a report from the Gujranwala police head about kidnap-cum-murder of a 13-year-old girl in Sialkot, directing the police to  arrest the criminals as early as possible.

The CM has also extended sympathies to the bereaved heirs and assured them of the provision of justice.

Police have already arrested an accused Shahid who happens to be the neighbour of the victim girl. The criminal has also confessed to his crime.

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has sought a report from the Gujranwala regional police chief about an alleged incident of gang rape with a bagger woman in the precinct of Ahmednagar police station in Gujranwala, directing strict action against the accused.

The vicitm was sexually by three people on December 17. The vicitm told the police that she remained tight-lipped because of the suspects' fear. 

Police have registered the case against the accused and arrested two criminals. Raids are in progress to to arrest the third accomplice, says a handout issued by the Punjab government.
