Karachi: Peshawar Zalmi knocked-out Quetta Gladiators completely by 3 wickets in eighth match of Pakistan Super League season six (PSL6) played between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators at Karachi’s National Stadium Karachi.

Earlier, Quetta Gladiators scored 198 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs, with the help of brilliant batting by Sarfraz Ahmed and Azam Khan.
When Quetta Gladiators started their innings, opener Cameron Delport scored just two runs and got out on the ball of Mohammad Imran. Saeem Ayub teamed up with Faf du Plessis to add runs to the score but was run out for 21.
Faf du Plessis and Sarfraz Ahmed then formed a 40-run partnership, after which Faf du Plessis scored 37 and was caught by Wahab Riaz.
When Peshawar Zalmi started its innings, Kamran Akmal scored just three runs and was bowled by Usman Shinwari. Tom Cadmore also managed to score only four runs when he was dismissed by Dale Steyn.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Quetta Gladiators have lost their last two matches while Peshawar Zalmi won their second match after a thrilling match against Multan Sultans.
Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators have faced each other 17 times in PSL with equal wins 8-8. One game ended as no-result.
In today's crucial match, Quetta Gladiators didn’t have the services of their star player Chris Gayle. Chris Gayle has returned home to be part of the West Indies squad for the tour of Sri Lanka.
Likewise, Quetta Gladiators had made significant changes to their squad for today's match, including Cameron Delport, Faf du Plessis and Dale Steyn.
Earlier today afternoon, Multan Sultans outclassed Lahore Qalandars by 7 wickets in the exciting 7th match of Pakistan Super League sixth edition at the National Stadium Karachi. Multan Sultans put effort by batting excellently against the rivals Lahore Qalandars.
