Gilgit Baltistan CM Khalid Khurshid tests positive for coronavirus
He appealed to wear mask and follow SOPs
Islamabad: Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
According to GB CM spokesperson, Khalid Khurshid has quarantined himself at Gilgit Baltistan House, Islamabad after testing positive for the virus. "He has some mild symptoms but he is better now", the spokesperson added.
Khalid Khursheed appealed that people make sure to wear masks, follow SOPs and get vaccinated.
On the other hand, Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif contracted Covid-19 for the second time.
PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb confirmed that Shehbaz Sharif contracted coronavirus.
PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar said that Opposition Leader of National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has quarantined himself at his residence after testing positive for the virus.

Attaullah Tarar requested nation to pray for speedy recovery of the PML-N president.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s son Zain Qureshi also tested positive for coronavirus. He has been isolated at his home.
Earlier, President Arif Alvi has twice contracted coronavirus.
