Tehran: Iraqi sources reported Monday that an explosion was heard near Abu Ghraib located in the western part of the Iraqi capital.
According to sources, the sound of explosion was heard in the western part of Baghdad. No further details have been released on the incident.
Reports quoting sources said that the blast took place despite the widespread deployment of security forces in the vicinity of Abu Ghraib prison.
