Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday.

Director General ISI Lt. Gen. Faiz Hamid was also present during the meeting. Matters pertaining to national security were discussed during the meeting.
On Jan 11, both military leaders also called on the prime minister to discuss the security matters. During the meetings, they had condemned the Machh incident in which 11 labourers were killed by terror elements in Quetta. The incident had sparked protest by relatives of the victims.
The military and civilian leadership had also discussed continuous human rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and ceasefire violations by the neighbouring country at the Line of Control (LoC).
