Shahid Afridi will do quarantine at home following PCB’s protocols


Karachi: Former Pakistan team captain and Quetta Gladiators all-rounder Shahid Afridi has tested positive for coronavirus, Manager Quetta Gladiators Azam Khan said on Thursday, hours before the start of the Pakistani Super League's seventh edition.
According to the team management, he will do quarantine at home following PCB’s protocols and will be reintegrated into the squad after seven days of quarantine and negative test.
Yesterday, Afridi had left the bio-secure bubble to visit the hospital where he spent a few hours and he was tested positive upon return, said the team management.
Afridi did not show the symptoms of the disease, said the administration.
The star-player will be reintegrated into the squad after seven days of quarantine and negative test.
