Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visited Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday (today) and held a meeting with Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.
The Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction over the operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy and assured government's full cooperation to the force to cope with the emerging maritime challenges.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi highlighted the role of maritime sector in economy and commended Pakistan Navy's role in this regard.
The Naval Chief, in his remarks, reaffirmed Pakistan Navy's commitment to defend the country's sea frontiers and interests.
